AUSTIN RENTING FOR BEGINNERS
In 2007 Urban Squared Realty opened Austin’s first urban core area full-service brokerage at 515 South Congress.
While most agents & brokers only did residential sales or apartment locating we continued to do our residential real estate sales as a normal residential brokerage while pioneering the apartment locating industry with better service and experience all round.
Apartment rental help only existed in a small section of Northwest Austin where only a certain number of renters/clients wanted to live. There wasn’t a way to get assistance getting an apartment in the urban core of the city and it was becoming a problem as Austin was bursting at the seams — known as the Largest and most aggressive apartment leasing industry in the country. We made a name being able to redefine the apartment locating industry while also connecting more Austinites in private leasing with duplexes, houses, and condos – other brokerges only did one of these as these two separate varietals of the leasing industry in Austin. (And there’s a third – the Pre-leasing market).
Apartments, houses, condos, and duplexes are all obtained slightly differently, have different characteristics and these properties aren’t found in just one place. We have access to all private Austin Board of Realtors MLS access for private housing as well as corporate and niche apartments everywhere in Austin at all price ranges.
